I had been looking for a 4wd
Van since I bought my old 2wd.
This van came up on eBay and was near where I had lived in California,
so I could get to it. The paint is still very shinny and has a
slight purple iridescence to it. There is some minor body damage
on the driver's side that I will probably have fixed eventually.
The interior is very clean.
I'm in the process of setting
up the van for long-term expedition style travel. I've built in
a custom bed for the back with plenty of storage underneath and
a 12v fridge. I'm going to add GPS, compressed air, added fuel
tanks, custom metal front bumper, driving lights, underside protection
(transfer case, transmission, front end), second battery with
isolator, and CB and/or 2M radios.
